In the light of this realisation and the awareness of the potential that lies inside me, I have decided that I would tend my creative fire and upgrade my artistic skills. It’s time to come out of my comfort zone, be more adventurous, playful and daring. It is time to move forward on my creative path and enjoy the journey along the way without worrying about the end result! Time to let go of any expectations and judgements, time to experiment, to get my hands dirty and most of all, time to have fun!

It’s nearly a week since I have experienced three magical and relaxed days of Tango dancing at the Frankfurt Tango Marathon 2018 and I can’t stop smiling.

Being part of the event as one of this year's official photographers, to portray emotions, expressions, feelings and movements, plus capturing the connections in the tiny moments that two people share together was indeed a great privilege. What I love the most about FTM (non-profit Tango marathon event) is how welcome and relaxed I felt during those three days….

“(…) but I’m not photogenic…” – I hear it a lot! Believe me, it doesn’t surprise me! Like many of you, I also get shy in front of the camera – and yes, a portrait photographer is saying it herself! After all, I’m not photogenic… But we wouldn’t be ourselves if we didn’t take chances and just go for it, would we? And such beauties are resulting from it! Just believe and LOVE yourself.

I simply adore Autumn!

It’s one of the best time of the year for those beautiful and colorful OUTDOOR PORTRAIT SESSIONS! It comes as no surprise that’s one of the busiest time of the year for all photographers – especially those who find joy in exploring the world outside of their studios’ 4 walls, such as me. I’ve spent most of past weeks shooting multiple lifestyle family outdoor portraits (you HAVE to check my other blog posts ) as well as portraits of individuals among the greens, yellows and reds.

No one can doubt that Battersea Park is gorgeous at this time of year and it won’t be too long before it’s all over again for another year. I was so glad to capture the last colourful moments of autumn with some beautiful FAMILY MOMENTS with Corina & Chris and their gorgeous daughter Cara. We had perfect sunny autumn weather, golden hour light and some lovely spots in the park for this LIFESTYLE OUTDOOR FAMILY PHOTO SESSION. But this session certainly did not feel like a typical PHOTO SESSION!

I had the privilege of photographing Kaylee and Julian FAMILY MOMENTS in a beautiful setting of the Battersea Park. Kaylee's family is gorgeous, especially her little daughter, Elsie, who is just about to celebrate her second birthday hence the OUTDOOR FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION to freeze this moment in time.

Even though I am a London based portrait photographer, my love for photography takes me to some beautiful places around the world to capture special events such as weddings celebration, corporate and tango events. While I am traveling I can’t resist to explore a new city, new cuisine and new culture and create my own travel photo album.

There is something magical when you get lost on purpose and head out into the unknown. Hence I make sure my Nikon D600 and favourite lens is always with me so I do not miss the great photo oppportunity.

The opportunity to combine two loves: TANGO and PHOTOGRAPHY is a dream. PORTRAYING the movement and rhythm as dancers are lost in their embrace... To me, these secret moments tell a story that otherwise remains unseen and unheard, and allows people to open their eyes and appreciate the world they live in.

As a TANGO DANCER and PHOTOGRAPHER, I see more than just two people dancing and embracing! I am seeking to portray emotions, expression, feelings, movements, connection captured in the tiny moments two people share together. It’s an art of observation and of framing it in the most creative and imaginative way possible.
