I truly LOVE my job- photographing amazing individuals. As a London & Brighton Portrait Photographer I have the pleasure of meeting creative individual artists, freelancers, entrepreneurs, business owners and influencers who dream BIG like me. Being part of their journey and providing them with a stock of authentic personal and business brand images is a dream for me! Seeing my branding images used across all social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or Website fulfils me as a photographer & artist.

What I enjoy the most is not only seeing my images supporting a personal brand including website, marketing materials, social media presence... But also, being a backbone for personal growth, exploration journey, helping people pursue their goals and ambition. Meet Ladislav, an exceptionally talented and driven Chef who is dreaming BIG like me. I had the opportunity to meet Ladislav in person in Brighton during his internship program in SILO, the first and only zero waste restaurant in the world.  Prior that, Ladislv worked in a Michelin starred restaurant in Prague. He is currently launching a new chapter in his career! 

One of his dreams is to learn from the best, cook in the Michelin Starred Restaurants all over the world: Europe, UK, US… .

Ladislav approached me directly for a special “chef lifestyle” photoshoot and I knew strait after our initial conversation that my personal brand portrait session vision will match his expectations.

As a photographer, I see locations in a different light and quite often unexpected spots, quirky indoor & outdoor corners or narrow streets turn out to be fabulous backdrops. Our outdoor Personal Brand Photo session took place in Brighton. We headed over to the Brighton Pier (to be very specific we picked a spot under the pier) and worked with rusty metal and golden hour background. I have to say that the background combined with Ladislav’s red & black chef uniform created a perfect setting for our session. You could argue that the overall location of the photo session was very unique and a little bit controversial- under the Brighton Pier as opposed to more traditional restaurant settings - but this is exactly what we wanted to achieve. We wanted to be unique and reflect Ladislav modern approach to the life and his profession.

 

“Anything is possible….the world is my oyster!” is  what Ladislav told me during our unique, creative and adventurous Personal Brand Portrait Session in Brighton. I love this inspiring approach and positive attitude! After spending a few hours with Ladislav,  I can certainly say that his positive energy, aspiration and lack of fear is addictive!

My goal during this lifestyle portrait session was to capture his true personality in the most authentic way.  At the end of the day, the Personal Brand Photography is all you, your brand and your passion. I truly believe that your followers and your targeted clients want to know who you really are, what your passion and vision is! Ladislav vision was to capture a professional portrait images which he can use for marketing purposes: social medias (Facebook profile picture, Instagram posts), website, communication materials. The Personal Brand Portrait Profile picture will be appearing on his CV, in menus, marketing materials for special cooking events and potentially on his new business cards too!

We took a mix of close up portrait images as well as lifestyle type images. I could not resist to capture both his formal and informal portrait look as we progressed with the photoshoot.

This personal Brand Portrait Session was certainly the most unique, creative and adventure photo session I have ever done, particularly as it was completely different from a traditional restaurant kitchen or photography studio! We used few props during the photo session such as his chef uniform and set of kitchen tools. I love incorporating different props during the photo session as it adds an extra dimension to the image and fosters authenticity which is in line with the personal brand story. The Personal Brand Photo session is soooo personal and incorporating personal props such as notebook, laptop, favourite cup of tea or other tools make it even more personal!
