If you’re a looking for a relaxed, natural looking, informal yet engaging LinkedIn profile picture or corporate headshot for you and your team then I am your girl.
I am on mission to inject more personality into business headshots, reflect the image the culture of your business and unique energy of your team members.
For that reason I am saying “NO” to boring, bland, unimaginative headshots.
Photographer tip:Remember, business headshots can be taken in the office, in your home, co-working space, outdoor, on the street, in the park, on the beach… anywhere! Keep it simple. Less is more.
Recently I had the pleasure to photograph Brighthelm Financial (Brighton based mortgage advisors) who needed updated headshots of each team member to be used across the website and LinkedIn profiles.
Jess, the CEO of Brigthelm Financial, was very clear from the beginning about the vision of the team corporate headshots:
editorial or environmental rather traditional headshots
modern, relaxed, expressive, informal business headshots rather formal
not so corporate looking headshots…
…I have to say, this was music to my ears!
And that’s what we did, the photoshoot took place in the office of Brighthelm, rather than using a formal looking office space. We decided to take pictures in the communal lounge area using only natural light. Overall it took us approximately 1.5 hour from start to finish to capture multiple headshots of team of 6.
Photographer tip:not sure what to do with your hands during photoshoot? Why not incorporate props: laptop, coffee mug, notebook and pen or mobile phone.
